Pastor Gene

Our Pastor:  Gene Hinrichsen

I grew up in rural upstate New York and went to the University of Valley Forge near Philadelphia, PA, where I met my wife Bonnie.  We have two grown daughters and 7 grandchildren.  I am a college football and basketball fanatic.  Go Missouri tigers!  I like campfires, traveling and reading.  My favorite dessert is strawberry rhubarb pie and I enjoy good Italian food.  I have pastored churches in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Nebraska and Missouri.  My favorite place for a vacation is the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

Support Staff:
Kristen Law, Administrative Assistant
Kristen serves double duty as the administrative assistant to the pastor, as well as keeping the building shipshape! She has been a lifetime member here at Hammer Memorial. Kristen has been married to Wayne for 39 years. She comes from the King High school where she worked for 23 years. She handles many positions with finesse and diligence. Here at Hammer Memorial we are blessed to have her.
Kolby Lewis, Youth Director
Kolby is the director of our youth program, the CCY (Community Christian Youth). The CCY group encourages participation from all the churches in town, as do other youth groups in the area.  Kolby is a recent graduate of Northwest Missouri State University with a Master’s Degree in International Relations.  Having grown up in King City, and a lifelong member of Hammer Memorial, he knows our youth well, and is involved in their local activities besides the youth group.
Stacey Dyke, Ministry to Children
Stacey graduated from Oklahoma Wesleyan University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pastoral and Youth Ministries.  In 2013 Stacey and her husband, Logan moved to King City where they have raised their family of 4 children; Cassidy, Kennedy, Cayden, and Jensen. Stacey has a heart for children and loves to watch them grow.  When they have that light bulb moment it is so exciting! Stacey cannot wait to meet your family and show them the love Jesus has for us all!
